Editor - DK Travel

Are you ready for your next step in editorial? The DK Eyewitness travel division is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to work across our growing list of travel guides and gift and inspiration books. 

You will be responsible for delivering a range of projects, from guidebook updates to new titles, market research to sales materials. 

We are looking for someone with an eagerness to develop their editorial and project-management skills through regular feedback and learning opportunities. A passion for travel and travel publishing is a must. 

You should have:

  • an understanding of the fundamentals of commissioning, editing and producing visual editorial content 
  • proven ability to project-manage a list of titles, keeping to schedules and budgets
  • copy-editing, proofreading and research skills
  • the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • an understanding of what makes good content
  • Experience working with InDesign will be advantageous.
