Marketing Manager

We are seeking a creative Marketing Manager to join our growing DK Learning team within DK. Are you an experienced marketer with a record of executing creative and impactful campaigns in the education market? If so, please keep reading…

Your Role:
As Marketing Manager you will focus primarily on our Phonic Books series, working creatively as part of a team to take brand recognition and sales to the next level. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will develop highly creative and strategic annual marketing plans, achieving agreement with key stakeholders, and organising activity effectively for the year ahead.
  • Creative and data-driven in equal, you will track campaign performance, monitor effectiveness and analyse opportunities to ensure targets are met.
  • You will utilise a broad array of marketing strategies and tactics to generate awareness, keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, try new things, and not be afraid to fail in the process!
  • You will bring market and competitor insight to the business to inform and influence commissioning, product development and sales teams
  • You will own the content and customer journey on the Phonic Books website. Developing a deep understanding of our customer’s lifecycle, particularly in relation to product decision making, adoption, use and future purchases.

 Essential requirements:
 

Experience in delivering successful marketing campaigns that had a measurable impact on sales, audience size or engagement

  • Marketing knowledge covering the full marketing mix (email, social, print)
  • Highly creative, analytical, and strategic
  • Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence
  • Effective time management and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience in selling and/or marketing educational content 
  • Experience in marketing to audiences outside the UK (US or other regions - please specify on your CV/cover letter)
  • Knowledge of the education landscape
