Editor

A specialist medical news publisher based in London are looking for an Editor to join their team. They not only publish specialist medical news, they also engage and interact with specialist medical communities via their websites, enewsletters, live and on-demand digital education projects, printed newspapers, and social media channels. The company also organises and delivers year-round medical education via livestream and on-demand channels, and they regularly attend and organise events and conferences internationally.

The Editor will be responsible for creating and managing the content schedule, including writing news articles for the website, putting together eneweletters and working on the print publications. We're looking for Editors with strong, demonstrable journalistic experience in a busy multi-platform news environment, and ideally some medical news publishing experience to go with this or a medical background.

The Editor will be highly motivated, used to quick turnarounds and will be comfortable building relationships with key professionals across various fields of medicine. The role will require you to conduct interviews with them at events and remotely so you should have a personable and warm approach.
