An award-winning publisher of educational material is seeking an organised and meticulous Editor for Primary Education to join their passionate and customer-focused Publishing team. The company offer an excellent salary package, and great flexibility with this role being 100% remote, based in the UK.

As Editor the main purpose of your role will be to support senior editors, and work as part of the editorial team, to prepare print and digital content for publication. You will assist with all editorial and pre-production activities, including, copy editing, proofreading, text editing and correction in Google Docs and InDesign, electronic markup (e.g. Adobe PDF), cover briefing, scheduling, checking press files for printers, and liaising with various departments (e.g. editorial, design, project management, marketing, and sales).

The ideal Editor will demonstrate experience of working on 4-colour books and a complete knowledge of the production life cycle. You will have experience of working within a publishing environment (in particular editorial) and demonstrate excellent proofreading and organisational skills.
