In this role we are recruiting for, you can be the person responsible for bringing in new standards and guidelines that nurses and doctors are crying out for.
Our client, a specialist health care media company in Buckinghamshire, is looking for an Editor to lead on editorial and content strategy across their two leading journals read by healthcare professionals across the UK. Both titles are created with these professionals in mind and are geared towards improving patient care. In this role you will liaise directly with healthcare professionals, organise and run focus groups and then put together relevant and commercially viable content strategy. You will be the face of the brand and will require you to do a lot of networking and presenting at conferences so you can see this is no ordinary editor role!
You will have an assistant editor reporting in to you who will work on all of the production elements and other editorial and on tasks. They have over 13 years experience in this role so are very capable and will not need hands on management. Whilst people management will be beneficial it is not a must but brand focus and presentation are!
Again this is a client facing role with lots of meetings, conferences to attend and presentations to deliver.
