Are you an Editor, experienced in working with technical publications of a legislative nature? A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with an independent not for profit organisation, working within the financial market and impacting the global economy.

Within this role of Editor the successful candidate will be expected to ensure that all publications, as well as international agreements, governance documents, speeches, web pages, press releases and webinar scripts, meet the quality and high standards required. Documents will be edited for both general and technical audiences and managing the work flow, whilst meeting deadlines without sacrificing thoroughness, will be vital. Other key duties include the improvement of international staff members' drafting ability, through coaching, training and support, and working alongside colleagues to fulfil other duties, including project and document tracking.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of written English, a qualification in editorial and /or proofreading, fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate succinctly and tactfully, excellent organisation and analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. Is it essential to have experience within a similar role of working with legal and technical content. Knowledge of accounting services would be advantageous.

This role requires a positive, assertive and diplomatic individual with the ability to work flexibly and independently, as well as working as part of a team to improve quality of drafting throughout the organisation. You will be willing to assume responsibility for a range of tasks and take pride in supporting others to improve the standard of writing.
