We have an exciting new role with a leading healthcare magazine publisher, where you will have the opportunity to shape the editorial direction of three market-leading healthcare magazines.
This interesting new role will involve managing a team of reporters to produce the best news and feature content for the company’s websites serving community pharmacists, NHS commissioners and practice managers. There will be plenty of scope to work on new projects for the digital brands, such as roundtables, podcasts and social media campaigns as well as come up with plenty of ideas to keep improving the content and widen their reach. The Editor will also work with the Group Editor to set the editorial direction for all three publications as well as working within a wider editorial team.
This is a fabulous new role where the successful person will be experienced in setting a news agenda, be confident in delivering exclusive investigations and have top-quality writing and editing skills. You will have proven experience in journalism, either in trade journalism and/or health journalism, preferred, but not essential. You will also have a track record of breaking exclusives, commissioning articles and initiating and conducting investigations. Line management experience is required for this role as you will manage a small team of reporters. Our client offers flexible working.
