Editor, part-time

Our client is a highly respected B2B media publisher based in London with an excellent reputation for delivering innovative, and meaningful insight for their industry across magazines, exhibitions, conferences, awards, data and digital publishing. We are working with them on a part-time Editor role who will lead on the development of their quarterly magazine in the public sector.

The Editor will work part-time, ideally 3 or 4 days a week, responsible for ensuring the magazine meets readers needs, taking responsibility for putting together the agenda for their annual forum, arranging speakers and ensuring the event is a commercial success. As an ambassador for the magazine, the Editor will monitor political changes in the marketplace and keep up to date with the industry through attending conferences, seminars and events. The Editor will write thought provoking and inspiring editorial, layout pages in InDesign and Photoshop and work closely with the production team to ensure the magazine is produced on schedule.

The successful candidate will have proven B2B magazine experience with demonstrable editorial expertise. Confidence in working with political, and technical content is essential, as well as an interest in building a network within the public sector environment. Superb written and verbal communication is absolutely essential as well exceptional organisation, prioritisation and project management skills.
