If you have good administration experience within an office, ideally in a publishing or scientific environment, and demonstrably strong skills using Excel, this brilliant new role with a not-for-profit scientific publisher based in Cambridge, could be the right position for you!
You will be responsible for the some of the administration of the journal peer-review system, ensuring that procedures are as efficient as possible. Day-to-day tasks will include the receipt of manuscripts; record keeping, using the database; archiving and providing support and cover for other members of the team.
An excellent team player, your good interpersonal and organisational skills will be important as will be your strong communication skills. Enthusiasm and integrity are a must, together with a pro-active approach and the willingness and ability to take the initiative.
