Editorial Assistant (Humanities)

Are you interested in journal publishing? Do you have strong communication and organisation skills? This role could be the perfect first step of your publishing career!

Key duties:

Compile publishing reports

Maintain journal management records and databases

Provide high quality service to journal editors, editorial boards and publishing partners

Draft and send journal contracts

Research new acquisition leads

Assist colleagues with planning and running meetings

 

Experience / skills required:

Excellent communication with the ability to build strong working relationships

Solid organisation and prioritisation skills

Ability to juggle demanding workload

Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy

Proactive and resourceful approach to work

IT proficient incl. Word, Excel, Outlook
