We are so excited to be working on an Editorial Assistant or Assistant Editor role for the fast-growing Open Access team of an established international academic publisher. This role will play an important role in the development of Open Access journal publishing, and could be the perfect next step for an STM journal publishing enthusiast!
This role will support the Publishing and Managing Editors in growing the number of papers and impact of a portfolio of medicine and engineering journals. It will be responsible for:
* Managing a special collection programme for a range of OA journals
* Creating publishing reports for presentation to Editors and Society partners
* Maintaining accurate information on the company's systems and databases
* Researching the market and new business opportunities
* Producing analysis of citations and other key metrics
* Supporting social media strategies
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding and interest of Open Access and Open Research, and of STM journals, as well as bringing a positive and proactive attitude to the team.
