Editorial Coordinator - Part Time

A prestigious scientific body based in central London is looking for an Editorial Coordinator to work two days a week as part of a job share. The successful candidate will provide support to multiple journals working closely with authors and editors throughout the process to ensure high quality papers are published.

The scope of the role will cover ensuring that there is enough approved content to be published, and seeing it through the peer review process as well as contributing to the development of the content, its workflow process and the promotion of content across various channels, including social media promotion.

A collaborative approach will be essential, as this is a job share. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, and a high attention to detail. In addition, the Editorial Coordinator will be liaising with the internal editorial teams as well as scientist, fellows and other reputable contributors to journals so a personable and tactful approach will be needed.
