Editorial Director (Children’s Books)

Our client, a highly respected London-based children’s trade book publishing company has asked us to find an Editorial Director for their Children’s Nonfiction list.

This is a rare opportunity for a talented children’s books editor to make a great impact with a successful trade publisher as you’ll have the opportunity to drive their children’s nonfiction publishing in new and exciting areas.

You’ll be responsible for a programme of trend-led and authored books hence we’re looking for someone who’s motivated and commercially aware with a track record of commissioning and acquiring commercial nonfiction children’s books.

This is a hands-on acquisitions and editorial role that will suit a children’s book commissioning editor or senior commissioning editor looking for their next career move.
