Editorial Director - Fiction

A prestigious independent London-based trade book publishing house has asked us exclusively to find a talented Editorial Director to join the team to drive the acquisitions of their new commercial fiction imprint.

The company is well-established and has a great reputation for publishing best-selling, award-winning books.

This is a unique opportunity to build a new list at a successful non-corporate publisher as you’ll be responsible for running a fledgeling commercial fiction imprint across a broad range of fiction genres.

We’re looking for an inspirational editor to commission new stories for UK & international marketplaces. Naturally, you’ll need to have good contacts with agents and a successful track record of acquiring commercial fiction. The role could appeal to an experienced commissioning editor or an editorial director looking for a brand new challenge.
