Editorial Director - Non-fiction

We have an amazing opportunity to work for the non fiction imprint of an award winning Trade Publisher through a time of exciting growth. Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious Editorial Director or Senior Commissioning Editor to join their expanding team.

The ideal candidate will have proven success publishing across non fiction and has an eye for spotting will new talent direct and through agents, the role will to be to new relationships with authors and key people in the industry and to bring new commissioning ideas, creating new opportunities for growth across different genres within history, memoirs, current affairs and popular culture.

Ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to communicate confidently with a network of authors, agents and media
• Demonstrated knowledge of the market and ability to suggest new ideas for growth
• Extensive editorial experience working in non-fiction, across a range of subject areas
