Editorial Director or Publishing Director - trade fiction

A prestigious independent London-based trade book publishing house has asked us exclusively to find a talented Editorial Director or Publishing Director to join the team to drive the acquisitions for their new Commercial Fiction imprint.

The company is well-established and has a great reputation for publishing best-selling award-winning books.

This is a unique opportunity to build a list at a successful non-corporate publisher as you’ll be responsible for running an upmarket commercial fiction imprint across a broad range of fiction genres including crime.

We’re looking for an inspirational editor to commission new stories for UK & international marketplaces. Naturally you’ll need to have excellent contacts with agents and a successful track record of commissioning commercial fiction.

The role can be a full-time position, but our client would also consider a part-time applicant in an Editor-at-Large role.
