Editorial Director - trade fiction & non fiction

Are you an enterprising commissioning editor who'd relish the opportunity to join a brand new Adult trade fiction and non-fiction publishing company?

We're looking for an Editorial Director to lead the acquisition programme for a highly entrepreneurial book publishing start up team.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll drive the new title acquisitions across a broad range of commercial fiction and narrative non-fiction.

You'll also be in charge of the production function hence we're looking for a hands-on Editor who'll commission and take the book right up to delivery. 

We'd welcome enquiries from talented editors with varying degrees of experience, although you'll need to have already commenced your book commissioning career and have contacts in the trade fiction or narrative non-fiction space and be full of ideas about how to shape a new list.

This is a full time remote-based role although you'll need to work closely with, and meet with colleagues and contributors in the UK hence it will suit someone based in the UK.
