Our client is a prestigious professional publisher that is well known for having with the highest editorial standards. We are looking for an experienced Editorial Project Manager to join their team, based remotely in the first instance and on a flexible basis in London in future. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
With previous editorial and project management experience in professional or technical publishing (either print or online), you will develop and publish a portfolio of high quality publications on time and to budget. You will proactively manage authors and committees through the drafting and delivery process and use your strong editorial skills to ensure that the publications meet the language, structure, consistency requirements, and also conform to the set guidelines.
Whilst editorial experience would be amazing, the most important experience for this particular role is being able to project manage and have excellent external stakeholder management experience. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will help you to provide consultation on the publications, as well as maintain good working relationships with authors, committees and outside companies.
