Our client is a prestigious professional publisher that is well known for having with the highest editorial standards. We are looking for an experienced Editorial Project Manager to join their team, offering hybrid working based out of their London office.
With previous project management, ideally within an editorial context, and experience in professional or technical publishing (either print or online), you will develop and publish a portfolio of high quality publications on time and to budget. You will proactively manage authors and committees through the drafting and delivery process and use your strong editorial skills to ensure that the publications meet the language, structure, consistency requirements, and also conform to the set guidelines.
Whilst editorial experience would be helpful, the most important experience for this particular role is external stakeholder management experience and being comfortable leading committees of very senior stakeholders through technical, complex and lengthy projects where you need to build consensus and keep the projects on track. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will help you to provide consultation on the products as well as maintain good working relationships with authors, committees and outside companies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly prestigious, well regarded professional publisher as Editorial Project Manager.
For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.
