Editorial Project Manager

Our client is a prestigious professional publishing house that is well known for having with the highest editorial standards. We are looking for an experienced Editorial Project Manager to join their team based in West London.

With previous editorial and project management experience in professional or technical publishing (either print or online), you will develop and publish a portfolio of high quality publications on time and to budget. You will proactively manage authors and committees through the drafting and delivery process and use your strong editorial skills to ensure that the publications meet the language, structure, consistency requirements, and also conform to the set guidelines. You will advise authors on appropriate editing and drafting rules.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of technical editing and rewriting, and your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will help you to provide consultation on the publications, as well as maintain good working relationships with authors, committees and outside companies. Experience of XML would also be a real plus. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly prestigious, well regarded professional publisher as Editorial Project Manager.
