Editorial Project Manager - Education

Are you an experienced editorial project manager with strong educational publishing experience? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Editorial Project Manager to join a widely recognised international education company on an initial contract of around 6 months. This role is to be based remotely in the UK.

As Editorial Project Manager you will work amongst a friendly, supportive team, liaising with stakeholders internally and externally, including Curriculum Developers, teachers, teacher trainers, editors and Ministries of Education, to ensure new international education / K-12 projects are developed and delivered on budget, to schedule, and to specification, ensuring the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing schedules and development plans for individual projects
  • Co-ordinating the collation, checking and amendment of assets / materials
  • Prioritising the use of resource
  • Ensuring projects are customer focused
  • Co-ordinating project teams

The successful candidate for this role will ideally have experience of managing Maths and Science curriculum products specifically, and will be adept at working on multiple fast paced digital education projects. You will have stakeholder management skills and good commercial awareness. Clear and proven communication skills will be key as well as a working knowledge of project management tools and/or a project management qualification. An understanding of, or experience in, digital learning / education is also important.
