A leading international educational publisher is seeking an experienced editor and team leader to join their team in Singapore. Our client has an opening for the role of Editorial Team Leader within their Science team. The company offer an attractive salary, benefits and relocation package.
Reporting to the Publishing Manager, the Team Leader will lead an editorial team to develop and edit content for their Science titles aligning with the curriculum framework.
* Manage the smooth and timely publication of a list of Science titles.
* Manage and ensure standards of content editing and copy-editing.
* Ensure implementation of set processes for editing.
* Guide, monitor and review the work of authors and freelancers.
* Assist in handling challenging author relationships.
* Supervise and mentor a small group of editors.
As a Team Leader you will have editorial experience in educational publishing, preferably with Science titles. With knowledge in K-12 content and products, the ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with demonstrable analytical and mentoring skills, who is able to manage a small editorial team. Editorial experience and teaching experience will be advantageous.
