SENIOR PUBLICIST

ED PUBLIC RELATIONS, the award-winning independent book and culture PR agency is looking for a dynamic, media-savvy Senior Campaigns Manager/Account Director to join our team. Known for our results-driven inclusive media campaigns and commitment to client and author care, we are looking for a new team member who is as passionate about creating space for unheard voices as we are. We will need you to have proven experience in delivering intelligent, creative campaigns and a drive to excel.  Some experience of awards and events PR would be helpful, although not essential.

Our clients include global bestsellers, brand authors, arts organisations, lifestyle experts and a range of publishers across both adult and children’s sectors including Penguin Random House, Hachette, Pan Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, Knights Of, Walker Books, Canongate and David Fickling Books. Our awards clients include the BBC National Short Story Award, BBC Young Writers’ Award, Comedy Women in Print Prize and Society of Authors.

You will be a media-hungry, creative, nimble publicist who loves books and thrives on a challenge.  You should be able to hit the ground running on campaigns ranging from commercial and literary fiction to YA, with a keen interest in arts and culture and a desire to be part of a dynamic, friendly and growing PR agency. You will have at least 4/5 years’ experience of book campaigns - both fiction and non-fiction - be a great communicator with strong writing skills, have an established and engaged social media presence, display knowledge of the ever-changing digital media landscape and show attention to detail.
