Education Content Writer (Freelance / Temporary)

Are you looking to transfer your teaching experience into a content focused publishing role? Our client has a number of freelance openings for Education Content Writer. They are an agency that has successfully launched hundreds of education programmes for young people, and develops engaging learning resources. This role of Education Content Writer offers great flexibility for a teacher looking to combine freelance writing work with other teaching commitments.

The Education Content Writer will work in the Education space and will combine their teaching experience in UK schools with their strong writing talents to produce innovative learning resources. With experience in writing education resources for a range of ages and subject areas (financial education is one area of particular interest), a familiarity with educational resources, formats like lesson plans, you will work across the board to create resources and content which will be used across the UK & Ireland.

The successful candidate will be a strong writer, with experience of classroom teaching in the UK education sector, ideally with previous experience working in primary or secondary schools. One of the Freelance Education Content Writer openings will suit someone with experience of Financial Education so knowledge and experience of teaching financial education to 16 to 18-year-olds will be highly valuable. For the other freelance openings, the subject area is non-specific. This is a superb opportunity for a teacher looking to transfer their pedagogical insight and writing skills, and gain solid experience within a commercial, client facing organisation with a rewarding social impact.
