ELT Inside Sales Representative

We have an interesting career opportunity for a graduate who has been working abroad teaching English as a foreign language, to work for a leading Educational publisher as an ELT Inside Sales Representative. This is a super opportunity to bring your ELT skills to a publishing role where you will make a difference.

This role reports to the ELT Head of Sales (Europe)  and will involve researching possible opportunities  within institutions across EMEA areas, calling those institutions/teachers and gaining an understanding of the products they are currently using and how the products you will be offering can enhance their teaching experience.  The role will also support the ELT Europe team on specific projects as required.

There are no call sheets or scripts and no cold calling! The leads are warm and the majority of people you will speak to will be existing customers.  It is a very consultative role.  There will also be opportunities for the successful person to do some campus calling with the field sales reps as well as attending sales conferences.  This is an international role which could have many prospects for the right candidate, including moulding the role as you see fit.  You will also liaise with bookshops in the given territory on a regular basis highlighting relevant key new titles.

The successful person will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have an awareness of/experience of ELT teaching and ideally a TEFL qualification.  You will ideally have some exposure to an office environment and an interest in educational publishing and sales/marketing.  You will have outstanding English skills, both written and verbal.  This role carries a competitive salary and bonus scheme.

There will be some occasional travel to your assigned territory.
