Europe Sales Manager

We have partnered up with a global provider of information technology and software solutions to libraries as they get into a new exciting business phase and expanding into the European market. They are looking for an ambitious and target-driven Sales Manager to build the new territory and develop a portfolio of European clients across the medical, corporate and government sectors.

This position can be based in the UK or the Netherlands, though we are happy to consider candidates based elsewhere in Western Europe. Reporting into the VP of Sales, the new Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Generating new sales across Europe, developing successful long term relationships with customers
  • Overseeing the sales cycle for new clients across the EU and UK, including reaching out to prospects, carrying out demos, and supporting with implementation and troubleshooting
  • Providing regular reports and stats, working to agreed sales targets
  • Attending conferences, client meetings and other industry events

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to make a real impact and take full ownership over the European territory. You will need to have excellent client management skills, consultative selling and business development, and preferably have a background in SaaS or e-content sales. Knowledge of another European language is as advantage, though the role can be carried out entirely in English so don't let that put you off!
