Event Administrator (part-time)

A London-based publisher of B2B magazines and networking events is looking for an Event Administrator on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will coordinate all administrative aspects of the company’s events and projects. Please note that this for a permanent part-time role (20 hours).

Key duties:

  • Oversee all administrative of events from processing bookings to managing deadlines and expenses
  • Ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders including colleagues, delegates and event partners
  • Manage office filing and archiving, raising PO, creating events agreements, etc.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely production and events’ coverage
  • Maintain and improve databases and regularly review and update processes
  • Attend events as required, acting as an ambassador for the company

Experience / skills required:

  • Admin experience in a B2B or events environment would be an advantage
  • Experience of managing diaries and maintaining clear documentation, records and filing systems
  • Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Working experience of MS Office and using databases, mail merges, reports, etc.
  • Confident problem-solver with the ability to work independently and raise issues when necessary
  • Engaging and good communicator including on the phone and able to build strong relationships
