We are looking for an Event Executive for a prestigious Society based in Central London. The Society brings its members together through events and meetings, allowing them to discuss important topics in medicine, and develop their knowledge.
This is a broad role offering a lot of variety in day-to-day tasks, but the key duties of this role will include - although won't be limited to:
·attending handover meetings for event briefings
·highlighting opportunities to make events more engaging
·updating the CRM system with events
·uploading and updating the online events programme
·liaising with marketing and communication teams to circulate relevant information and materials to speakers and attendees
·managing the coordination of the event with regular communication with relevant departments
·disseminating information to those dealing with enquiries
·organising travel and accommodation for event speakers
·managing feedback from delegates
·accurate financial reporting and assisting with budgetary planning
·supporting prize management
The role will give you experience with budget handling, responsibility of events and marketing and an insight into the various departments of a highly reputable organisation as you will be liaising across teams to make these events happen. Our client is looking for candidates who have proven experience of running and coordinating events as well as experience of financial reporting and planning events to a strict budget. The successful candidate will also require experience of using CRM systems and databases.
