Events Marketing Specialist

An exciting opportunity as an Events Marketing Specialist is currently available with a professional membership body, based in central London.

Responsible for assisting in the promotion and marketing of their range of conferences, workshops and webinars, this role will involve identifying opportunities, actioning marketing plans, including e-communication campaigns, completing market research, reporting on successes and identifying / implementing areas of improvement. Others duties include, assisting with running events, writing copy for emails, website and social media, creating advertising and maintaining / developing the events page online. Monitoring and working within budget will be important, as will post event content, working with photographers / videographers and creating job briefs inform them accurately.

We are looking for someone with strong email marketing experience, excellent written and oral communication skills; a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will also possess the ability to lead, and building credible, professional relationships to advise on media approaches.

The successful candidate will be creative in their thinking, a team player and flexible in their approach with experience using Microsoft Office, Photoshop, CRM, CMS and promoting events.
