Executive Assistant to the COO (Publishing)

A leading trade publisher is looking for an experienced EA to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer and his Senior Management team. This is a maternity cover position to start either on 26 June/3 July until the 18 May 2018. 

Key duties:

  • Diary and email inbox management
  • International travel arrangements and visas
  • Scheduling of meetings and minute taking
  • Managing one direct report
  • Attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well prepared for meetings
  • Secretarial support to COO and Senior Management Team
  • Preparation of presentations and editing
  • Proofreading
  • Management of Expenses and Invoices
  • Carrying out specific projects and research

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid PA experience supporting an executive board member
  • High standard administration and secretarial skills
  • Calm and resourceful problem solver
  • Confidentiality/discretion
  • Advanced IT proficiency (Gmail, Microsoft office)
