Executive Business Partner

A global academic publisher is looking to hire a new Executive Business Partner to provide administrative and organisational support to the senior management team for their Journals divisions. This will require dairy management, travel booking and meeting support, together with wider departmental support across the Editorial team.

Who we're looking for:

This role requires PA experience ideally reporting to a senior executive, including dealing with confidential information, managing busy diaries and setting up meetings with senior stakeholders. You will also need to be proficient with Excel, and able to manage multiple tasks.

The ideal candidate will be a confident administrator with a successful history of supporting senior leadership, and strong experience managing schedules, events, projects and communication.

Day to Day you will be trusted with sensitive and confidential information, and our client is looking for someone who will demonstrate a mature and pragmatic approach when handling confidential data.

The role:

The Executive Business provides organisational and administrative support for the Editorial departments across the Journals and Open Access teams.

This will include:

  • Supporting the VP and Associate VPs with ad hoc administrative tasks including organising travel and diary management
  • Managing expenses and approval of team expenses
  • Scheduling and organising meetings, preparing agendas, helping with meeting materials and equipment set up
  • Providing departmental support, arranging team meetings and managing agendas
  • Organising team off-site events
  • Providing support with departmental projects and activities
  • Liaising with IT desk to flag up and resolve technical issues
  • Planning events and projects under the remit of the VP group member, such as board meetings, chairman's visits, leadership conferences, and planning meetings

This role will play a crucial part in the whole Journals Editorial department, which is a vibrant team of individuals who are incredibly passionate about their work and about fostering research and innovation in publishing
