Field Campus and Trade Sales Executive/Manager (UK and Europe)
Are you an ambitious sales professional looking for your next role? A fast-growing publishing company and consultancy for university academic publishers based in Harrogate is looking for a Field Campus and Trade Sales Executive/Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity to sell and market the print and e-product of their client in the sports science publishing industry in the UK and Europe.
Key duties:
- Build relationships with academics and win textbook adoptions in the territory
- Manage and call on selected trade accounts in the UK and Europe
- Manage special sales projects to make bulk sales of trade and practitioner books
- Manage publisher ambassadors on campus
- Attend conferences and travel up to 12 weeks a year
- Ensure coordination and support of the approach to campus, trade and special sales with the marketing and sales team
Experience / skills required:
- Experience selling and promoting academic books on campus and to the trade essential
- A passion for sport with a degree in sports science with a second language in German, Italian or French desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and enthusiasm to work as part of a team
