Field Sales Executive (Germany based)

We have an exciting new role within the Higher Education division of a world-leading publishing company. They are now looking to appoint a Field Sales Executive to cover Central and Eastern Europe (based in Germany) to drive forward the sales of their fantastic portfolio of print and digital solutions. This Field Sales Executive role will be based in Germany; the company offer an excellent salary package and benefits.

Reporting into the Head of Sales, this role will be responsible for:

  • Visiting key Higher Education institutions within the territory to promote all relevant products and solutions in digital and print format
  • Retain and roll all existing business across the territory
  • Identify and close new business opportunities with a particular emphasis on direct and institutional sales
  • Follow up on all qualified new business and upsell opportunities
  • Manage customer data and activity on the CRM system
  • Liaise with campus bookshops on a regular basis highlighting relevant key new titles, new editions etc.

The field sales representative will be servicing Higher Education clients based in Central and Eastern Europe and will require the successful candidate to have existing knowledge and experience of the educational publishing industry with a proven track record of sales within it. Candidates must be based in Germany and have the right to work to continually operate there. The role will entail travel into Austria and Switzerland on a semi regular basis and also occasional travel to Poland and some other Eastern European countries as required.
