Field Sales Executive - Higher Education - Midlands

A highly successful educational publisher is looking to recruit an experienced Field Sales Executive to join their Higher Education Sales team to promote and sell services and products to higher education institutions and students in the Midlands area.  This role will work on a remote field sales basis and the successful person will ideally be based in the territory.

This highly interesting and varied sales role will be responsible for promoting the company’s key products and solutions, both print and digital, within Higher Education establishments, maximising sales revenue and achieving agreed sales target, through all channels but primarily through direct sales.

Some of the key responsibilities will involve:

  • Visiting HE institutions within territory to promote relevant company products and solutions in digital and print format
  • Retain and roll all existing business across the territory
  • Identify and close new business opportunities with an emphasis on direct and institutional sales
  • Follow up on new business and upsell opportunities
  • Liaise with campus bookshops on a regular basis highlighting relevant key titles

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual, with a proven track record of sales within the educational publishing industry, selling print and digital products, or proven sales success within a similar sector. You will need a clean driving licence and able to travel within the territory.
