Field Sales Representative

Field based Sales Representative | Academic | Scotland/North East. A leading global academic and professional publishing Group, with offices in Oxfordshire, is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Representative to drive the sales of their textbooks business through academic institutions across Scotland and the North East of England.

The ideal candidate for this role is likely to be based in central Scotland or in the North East of England. Applications from sales oriented booksellers will also be considered.

Responsibilities include:

·Relationship management of a portfolio of customers
·Planning, scheduling and carrying out regular visits to key customers
·Monitoring sales of key adoptions
·Liaising with sales colleagues
·Building and maintaining effective external and internal relationships,.
·Providing line manager with regular reports on sales
·Preparing for, attending, and contributing to UK and international sales
You will have a proven track record of success in sales environment and first class communication and organisational skills. Self motivated, it is important that you will enjoy working in a field based role. Ideally candidates should have experience or knowledge of book sales or have worked in an academic field, however this is not essential.

This position offers an excellent basic salary, plus bonus, plus benefits and also comes with a company car.
