This is an exciting opportunity to work for this market leading client to commission board and card game lines according to the company’s strategic aims. To manage and grow a pool of contributors. To manage and liaise with publishing partners and associates on specific projects. To edit and project-manage the projects for which you are responsible. To maintain a presence on forums, blogs, and discussion boards and increase visibility.

Commission board and card games that deliver maximum revenue and profit contribution.

Anticipate or lead trends in the board and card game fields, working with game designers and subject matter that are easy to promote and market.

Manage and develop a pool of designers, writers, and artists.

Discuss projects with contributors as far ahead of schedule as possible to establish and maintain practical, working timeframes.

Evaluate proposals thoroughly upon receipt and ensure that any issues are addressed

Present projects clearly and passionately at publishing and sales meetings

Ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Perform thorough editorial checks on titles and ensure that they receive appropriate copyediting and proofreading prior to publishing.
