Publishing Assistant
This role offers an opportunity to be part of the team behind an exciting university press which is still in its development phase. As a key member of a small team you will be required to be involved in supporting all aspects of Goldsmiths Press activities, supporting the Press Director and Editorial and Production Manager.
We are looking for a graduate with at least 12 months experience in publishing. Prior experience in administration and working with administrative, finance or bibliographic systems is essential, as is a working knowledge of the book publishing process. Excellent communication and numeracy skills also required, and the ability to work as part of a small team. The successful applicant will have a demonstrable interest in academic book publishing and its development in a digital environment. Also important is initiative, flexibility and a proven ability to coordinate and manage a varied workload.
