Marketing leading publishing house seeking candidate keen to progress their career in marketing in the publishing sector.
To provide effective marketing of trade publications/ products to consumers and trade partners by implementing all aspects of its marketing plans, including direct mail, email marketing, web marketing, publicity, print and offline advertising, and sales materials. Prepare copy for a range of materials, to deadline, including Advance Information Sheets, catalogues, press releases, posters and event fliers. Assist with the creation of original content for the website blog and forums, social media accounts and third-party websites. This might include features such as product reviews, author interviews and promotional videos. Organize and attend relevant trade and consumer events in the UK and abroad. Work with the Marketing Designer to develop all print and online consumer and trade advertising where required. Manage the marketing relationship with authors where product is targeted for promotion. Assist with social media.
