Graduate Sales Representative (Cairo)

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding and proactive graduate to join a highly reputable educational publisher and its growing team of local sales representatives in Cairo. The role will start as a two year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension and would suit a recent graduate looking to bring enthusiasm to a role within publishing.

Key duties:

• Build good working relationships with teachers and educational personnel in international schools
• Regularly visit schools throughout Egypt to present print and digital products and secure adoptions
• Carry out market research, feeding this back for reporting purposes
• Represent the publisher at events and book/product launches

Experience / skills required:

• A good degree or equivalent from a UK university is essential
• Outstanding communication skills
• A proactive approach and excellent organisational skills
• A keen interest in publishing, particularly in educational materials
• Strong IT skills, including skills in manipulating digital technology
• A willingness to relocate to Cairo and an interest in the Arab world
• A CELTA qualification or PGCE/BEd and / or ELT teaching experience would be advantageous
