Publicity Director (or Head of Publicity)

Our client, a well-established highly respected mass market trade book publisher has exclusively asked us to help in their search for a talented publicity person to manage all aspects of publicity for their mass market mainstream adult trade fiction & non-fiction imprints.

This is a brand newly created group role to help this publishing group fulfil its ambitious plans for growth and increase their market share. They are open to hearing from candidates ready to step up into a leadership role or from those PR leaders already well established.

You’ll join the publisher’s senior management team and enjoy a broad PR remit to get involved in all aspects of publicity & PR including author acquisitions, developing a long-term PR publicity strategy, developing leading major trade brand name authors and maintaining key author relationships.

We are looking for highly talented hands-on publicity candidates with an excellent track record and trade experience in creating and running major PR & Publicity campaigns for mass market mainstream adult trade fiction and ideally non-fiction books as well.

Naturally a good press and PR contact book and excellent trade reputation with all the key media names and influencers is essential for this role.
