Group Export Sales Assistant
Are you passionate about books but also good with numbers and Excel?
An exciting admin opportunity has come up in a leading Children's book publisher, based in London. Our client is looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Group Export Sales Assistant for their busy Export team, reporting to the Group Export Sales Director.
The role will be home-based initially, with potential to move to a hybrid working model later on.
Responsibilities will include:
- Organising stands for physical book fairs
- Acting as the day-to-day contact for distributors and freelance reps
- Sending out advance material including proofs, blads, and dummies
- Keeping customers informed on production schedules and dispatch dates
- Organising shipments and invoicing
- Performing stock analysis and organising transfers
- Providing marketing support
You will have strong administrative, numeracy and IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint), and the ability to work both in a team and to your own initiative. Proven office experience and an interest in children's books are a must, and previous experience in a Rights or Export Sales role is desirable but not essential. Some customer service experience would also be an advantage.
