Key Account Manager

What you’ll be doing

Are you an ambitious salesperson who loves product development too? We are looking for someone curious, tenacious and proactive to join the Hachette Non-Trade sales team as Key Account Manager, North American Sales. This would suit someone with excellent custom publishing acumen and an eye for new business. Reporting to the Key Account Director, North America, you will also work closely with the International Business Development Director and publishers across the Group, with a particular remit working with Quercus, Non-Fiction.

Who we are looking for

The position provides a unique opportunity to not only deliver growth but to shape contract publishing at HUK. You will provide synergy and maximise revenue across a global account base, largely focussed on North America but also working with the teams responsible for UK and International special sales. Due to the varied nature of these accounts, it would be beneficial if you have some understanding or experience in Rights, co-eds and/or special sales.

There is plenty of opportunity to create innovative projects and explore new business partnerships. In return, you will enjoy exposure to different territories and accounts, within a supportive and friendly team.
