Marketing Designer (1 year FTC)
Are you a creative designer with a passion for books? We’re looking for a designer to join our award-winning marketing team Hodder & Stoughton on a fixed one year contract.
What you’ll be doing
As the sole designer within the marketing team, you will drive and deliver creative, effective print and digital design to support the broader creative strategy for each book and author. From creating proof covers and social media assets to advertising visuals, point of sale and animations, you will ensure that all digital and print design generates the right audience response.
Who we are looking for
You will be a self-motivator, able to originate your own ideas as well adapt other designers’ artwork. We’re looking for a talented individual who is highly organised and able to juggle a busy workload and work to very tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have creative flair, energy, and a demonstrable passion for creating designs that stand out and engage. Experience of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is essential. Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Flash desirable.

This role can be based at our London office, or at any of our new regional offices in Edinburgh, Newcastle, or Sheffield, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
