Senior Brand Manager
What you’ll be doing
You will be working primarily on the Yellow Kite list and Hodder & Stoughton non-fiction list on a select number of our biggest brand authors and communities to devise, implement and drive their publishing strategies. This means delivering innovative, sales-generating marketing campaigns; from building reader pre-awareness and engaging booksellers, crafting the overall brand messaging and creative direction, planning and implementing sales-generating digital and social activity, planning major advertising spend across a range of channels, securing new partnerships, regular in-depth analysis and reporting on results, and always providing outstanding author care and communications.
Who we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic and full of ideas, with proven experience in a marketing role and a proven track record of delivering truly outstanding campaigns that demonstrate a deep understanding of an author or community’s brand and readership. Passionate about lifestyle, health, wellness and confident working with high-profile authors, you’ll be creative with a particular flair for digital and social activity, a strong copywriter, able to carefully plan and track budgets and be a multitasker who always shows outstanding attention to detail in everything you do. You’ll understand how to reach different consumers with targeted messaging and initiatives and have plenty of experience working with third parties on partnerships to broaden the reach of your campaigns.
Fantastic digital skills are essential, including a thorough knowledge of all major social media platforms and tools, including Photoshop and other relevant Adobe creative software, as well as the WordPress platform.

This role can be based at our London office, or at any of our new regional offices in Edinburgh, Newcastle, or Sheffield, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
