Trade and Special Sales Manager – JKP & JMP Specialist

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic sales professional with broad experience of the UK and export markets to sell our titles into trade and specialist accounts, and to manage our overseas distributors. The job will also involve managing our bulk eBook sales via the JKP digital libraries.

You will champion JKP books within the wider business, presenting JKP trade titles to the Hachette UK and international sales reps and special sales teams, and ensure they have all necessary sales materials. You will also use your expertise to contribute to sales campaigns for specialist books on topics such as mental health and self-help across the John Murray Press division.

  • A high standard of time-management, prioritisation and organisational skills, with a close eye for detail and keen awareness of deadlines

  • Strong numerical, verbal and written skills, including report writing
  • Strong IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
