Publicist

Hardie Grant Publishing are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Publicist to join our London team. Responsibilities will include planning and implementing full publicity campaigns, arranging book-related events - including online and digital -, co-ordinating press materials and presentations and delivering excellent author care.

Reporting directly to the Head of Publicity, the candidate will be a confident, organised and energetic professional with great interpersonal and organisational skills. They will have more than 2 years’ experience in a publicity role running their own successful book campaigns, have excellent contacts within the media and will also be able to build and retain strong working relationships. A keen interest in illustrated non-fiction publishing is a must.

The successful candidate will be working across multiple projects so must be proactive, able to prioritize a wide and varied workload and work to tight deadlines. Strong administrative skills and working as part of a team in a collaborative and flexible way are key.
