Are you an experienced Editorial Leader looking for a new opportunity? Our client is a leading professional association operating within the financial services sector, they are now seeking a dynamic Editorial Director to join them to cover a maternity leave contract as soon as possible for 9-12 months. Their offices are in Central London and they have a flexible working policy normally meeting a couple of times a month.
The organisation has a membership structure similar to a subscription model and the Editorial Director will be responsible for leading the publishing and membership operations, ensuring these meet their members needs and are of the highest quality. Managing a team of 5 direct reports, this role will lead and manage the company's policy, projects, editorial and content marketing teams to ensure maximum engagement for their members as well as growing the overall industry presence for the association.
The successful candidate will have a knowledge of a membership or subscription structure, and experience within a b2b editorial environment. Proven management skills are essential, this role will report into the Board of Directors and have accountability for overall business KPIs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as an impeccable attention to detail when it comes to researching, writing, interviewing, proofreading and editing.
