Head of Content Development

We are looking for a Head of Content Development to join our client, a professional membership body based in London. Our client is constantly developing new standards across multiple sectors and identifying new opportunities to do so.

The Head of Content Development will be responsible for managing a team of circa. 20 people and will ensure project management best practice across a team who are delivering their publishing portfolio using project-based management techniques. This role will also work collaboratively with other stakeholders internally in the business to deliver standards and deliver content and data to commercial channels.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project or programme delivery with superb communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Excellent drafting and editorial expertise and strong stakeholder management experience is a must, alongside demonstrable leadership skills, with proven experience in effectively managing teams. The successful candidate will also be delivery focused and results driven with a highly commercial approach. A working knowledge of XML and experience of working with standards alongside an understanding of the standards development process would be an advantage.
