Head of Marketing Children

A leading trade publisher based in London is looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to work in their Children's division. This fantastic opportunity involves developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns to build and strengthen key author brands and drive profitable sales of the division's books. The role covers new and backlist titles and encompasses both business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing as well as managing and developing the marketing team to deliver successful marketing campaigns .

Key responsibilities include: creating highly effective and original acquisition pitches, developing commercially creative consumer campaigns using the whole marketing mix, establishing and evolving key author brands, effective analysis of results and working within agreed timelines and budgets.

The successful candidate will have significant consumer marketing experience, proven experience of managing large marketing budgets, experience of running advertising campaigns across on and off line channels and managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously. They must be creative with a strong eye for design, strategic, analytical, commercial and a good communication. Working knowledge of children's publishing is essential for this role
