We are looking for a Head of Product Management with vision, leadership and expertise in the online academic library products market.
Our client, a globally renowned independent academic publisher, is looking for a Head of Product Management to bring product vision, effective roadmap and team leadership to their online library products. It's a market that is ready for innovation with increased demand for online tools and this is an opportunity to make a major impact on the digital evolution of institutional libraries and the wider academy.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy and, subsequently, chartering the course for the team to execute that strategy. You will deliver the product roadmap, effectively prioritising activities in line with the platform strategy. As the voice of the users and customers, and with ongoing insight into the world of technology partners, you will continue to deliver effective and market-leading products. Meanwhile, on the product innovation leadership team internally, you will be a voice for this area of the business and be ready to liaise with other senior leaders to knowledge-share.
This role will suit someone with excellent knowledge of the academic library market, experience of working with user-centred design practices, team management experience and of course with a very strong online product development background.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
